asha-puthliThe Grammy Museum will be honoring the great Asha Puthli this week in Los Angeles.  Her amazing body of work will be on display to recognize her efforts beyond the boundaries of bollywood.  Asha Puthli is recognized as a pioneer in the fusion of South Asian and American cultures and is often known as inspiring the beginning the of many subsequent genres.  Her work in Jazz and Funk is well noted.
